The purpose of this privacy notice is to provide maximum transparency regarding the information collected by the site and how it is used.

In compliance with obligations arising from national legislation (Legislative Decree June 30, 2003, n. 196, Personal Data Protection Code, and subsequent amendments) and European legislation (European Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data n. 679/2016, GDPR), this site respects and protects the confidentiality of visitors and users, making every reasonable and proportionate effort to safeguard user rights.

This site does not display advertisements and does not use data for sending advertising. However, it may use third-party services to improve site usability; such third parties could collect user data and later use it to send personalized ads on other sites. Nevertheless, this site makes every effort to protect user privacy and minimize the collection of personal data. For example, in some cases, the site uses YouTube videos, which are set not to send cookies (and therefore not to collect data) until the user plays the video. You will notice that instead of the video, only a placeholder is displayed. The site also uses social plugins to simplify sharing articles on social networks. These plugins are configured to send cookies (and possibly collect data) only after the user clicks on them.

It should be noted that managing cookies can be complex, both for the site operator (who may not be able to properly manage third-party cookies) and for the user (who may block essential cookies for site functionality). A better and simpler way to protect privacy is to use anti-tracking tools.

Legal Basis for Processing

This site processes data mainly based on user consent. Consent is given via the banner at the bottom of the page, or by using or browsing the site, which constitutes implied consent. By using or browsing the site, visitors and users accept this privacy notice and consent to the processing of their personal data according to the methods and purposes described below, including any dissemination to third parties if necessary to provide a service. Consent for specific services is also collected through communication forms or service request forms.

Providing data and giving consent is optional; users may refuse consent or revoke it at any time (via the banner at the bottom of the page, browser cookie settings, or the Contacts link). However, refusing consent may prevent the provision of certain services and could compromise the browsing experience.

Data collected for site security, abuse and spam prevention, and for traffic analytics in aggregated form are processed based on the legitimate interest of the data controller to protect the site and its users. Users always have the right to object to this processing (see section User Rights).

Purpose of Processing

Data collected by the site is processed for purposes connected, instrumental, and necessary for providing the service, as well as for the following purposes:

Collection of aggregate and anonymous data to verify proper site functionality. None of this information is related to an individual user, and identification is impossible. Consent is not required.

Security purposes
Data and information collection to protect the site (antispam filters, firewall, virus detection) and users, and to prevent or detect fraud or abuse. Data may include personal data (IP address) which may be used in accordance with applicable law to block attempts to damage the site or harm other users. These data are never used for identification or profiling and are periodically deleted. Consent is not required.

Ancillary activities
Sharing data with third parties performing necessary or instrumental functions (e.g., comment boxes) and allowing third parties to carry out technical, logistical, or other tasks on our behalf. Providers have access only to personal data necessary for their tasks, must not use it for other purposes, and are required to process personal data in compliance with applicable law.

Data Collected

The site collects user data in two ways:

During browsing, the following information may be collected and stored in the server log files:



  • Internet Protocol (IP) address

  • Browser type

  • Device parameters used to connect to the site

  • Internet Service Provider (ISP) name

  • Date and time of visit

  • Referral and exit pages

  • Number of clicks (if applicable)

These data are used exclusively for statistics and analysis in aggregated form. The IP address is used only for security purposes and is not cross-referenced with any other data.

Voluntarily provided data

The site may collect additional data if users voluntarily use services such as comments or contact forms, and such data will be used exclusively to provide the requested service:



  • Name

  • Email address

Data Processing Location

Data is processed at the Data Controller’s office and at the Aruba S.p.A. datacenter.

Data Retention Period

Data collected during site operation is retained only as long as necessary for the specified activities. Afterward, data will be deleted or anonymized, unless there are further legal or service-related reasons for retention.

  • IP addresses used for site security are retained for 30 days.

  • Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for 24 months.

Transfer of Collected Data to Third Parties

Data collected by the site is generally not shared with third parties except in specific cases: Legitimate requests by judicial authorities, as required by law Necessary for providing a specific service requested by the user For security checks or site optimization

Security Measures

We process visitor/user data lawfully and correctly, adopting appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction. Personal data is protected during transmission using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Processing is carried out using IT or telematic tools, with organizational methods strictly related to the stated purposes. Besides the Data Controller, certain authorized staff or external parties (technical service providers, hosting providers) may access the data.

User Rights

Under European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR), users can exercise the following rights within the limits established by law:

  • Object in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data for advertising, direct sales, market research, or commercial communication

  • Request confirmation of the existence of personal data (right of access)

  • Know the source of the data

  • Receive intelligible communication of the data

  • Be informed about the logic, methods, and purpose of processing

  • Request updating, correction, integration, deletion, anonymization, or blocking of unlawfully processed data, including data no longer necessary for the purposes collected

  • Where processing is based on consent, receive their data in structured, machine-readable, and commonly used electronic format

  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Italian Privacy Authority – link to the Garante Privacy website)

  • Exercise any other rights recognized by law
